Kenya Inter University Environmental Students Association (KIUESA) is a non-profit and non-political association, the first of its own in Kenya, constituting students from both public and private universities including all environmental clubs within these universities, alumni and like-minded parties with a passion for environmental sustainability; formed in January 2015, by university environmental students. We are spearheading the environmental sustainability and development in water, energy, waste management, forestry, marine, environmental heritage and culture for students and community.
We pull competencies in order to provide unified approaches towards solving the challenges faced by the environment.
Our focus is to carry out research, innovation, advocacy, awareness, and mentorship in the environmental sector within the public and the entire community for environmental sanity. Our engagement sectors involve Agriculture, Water, Forestry, Energy, Waste management, Economics, climate change and environmental journalism.
